The sky over South Beach runs from violet at the top to a fierce orange near the horizon, and tall palms rise against it in black silhouette. Beneath them a row of Art Deco hotels lines the street in mint, cream and candy pink, each topped with a vertical neon sign glowing pink, white or turquoise.
Hotel windows shine amber, mist drifts along the pavement, and the wet road catches the colours in long, soft streaks. In the right foreground a vintage convertible in faded teal waits at the kerb, its chrome glinting. This Miami neon print captures the moment Ocean Drive switches from beach town to night scene, breezy and quietly glamorous. The sign lettering is stylised rather than tied to any real hotel. Over the road, 'Miami' appears in a flowing italic serif, 'United States' in small capitals underneath.
South Beach After Dark
Ocean Drive runs along South Beach facing Lummus Park and the Atlantic, lined with low Art Deco hotels from the 1930s and 1940s. After sunset their neon signs and pastel facades light up, and the sidewalk cafés turn the street into one of Miami Beach's best-known evening strolls. The buildings form part of the Miami Beach Architectural District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 after local preservationists campaigned to save them.

Questions & answers
Is the car in the Miami print a classic convertible?
Yes. A vintage convertible in faded teal is parked at the kerb in the foreground, echoing the retro spirit of Ocean Drive's Art Deco hotels.
Do the neon signs name real Miami hotels?
No. The vertical signs are stylised, so no real hotel is identified. They are there for their colour and shape, in the spirit of the street's famous signage.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
