About this artwork
Tower Bridge stands square to the viewer, its two Gothic towers glowing coral and amber with the sun sitting low in the gap between them. Pale blue suspension chains sweep down to the riverbanks on both sides, and the high walkways cross above the opening. Behind, a turquoise sky holds puffy white clouds and a band of pink near the horizon.
A small dark double-decker shape sits beneath the central span, a nod to London's famous buses. Most of the lower half belongs to the Thames: a dazzling path of gold runs straight towards the viewer, with the towers reflected in coral and pink and the water edged in teal. This London wall art brings warmth to a famously grey river. At the base, London is written in a serif italic, with United Kingdom in spaced capitals beneath.
About Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge was built between 1886 and 1894 to designs by the City Architect Sir Horace Jones and the engineer Sir John Wolfe Barry. It is a combined bascule and suspension bridge: the central roadway lifts in two halves to let tall ships through, while high walkways link the towers. Its Victorian Gothic towers, stone-clad over a steel frame, were designed to harmonise with the neighbouring Tower of London, which gives the bridge its name. The walkways now include glass floors above the Thames.

Questions & answers
Is this London Bridge or Tower Bridge?
It is Tower Bridge, the one with two Gothic towers and high walkways beside the Tower of London. London Bridge is a separate, much plainer crossing a short way upstream, and the two are often confused.
Where is the sun in the London print?
Right between the bridge's two towers. The low sun glows through the central opening and throws a bright path of gold down the Thames towards the viewer, which is the focal point of the whole design.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
As a rule of thumb, choose art about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it. 50 × 70 cm makes a statement above a sofa or bed, 30 × 40 cm suits shelves, desks and gallery walls. Our size guide shows every size to scale.
How is my print made and shipped?
Each print is made to order for you, then shipped with tracking from a production partner close to your address. You receive the tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves production.
