Narrow gabled houses in brick red, mustard yellow, cream and coral lean shoulder to shoulder along both banks, their windows deep and shadowed. On the right, pink tulips spill from window boxes, and a dark bicycle rests against the wall on the cobbled quay — a detail that feels instantly Dutch.
At the centre, a humped stone bridge carries a crown of red, pink and yellow flowers, its arch completing a near-perfect circle in the water below. A soft haze drifts beneath the far houses, and a turquoise sky gives way to tall white clouds. The canal itself is a patchwork of reflected colour. About Amsterdam's Canal Ring
Amsterdam's canal ring was dug in the 17th century, during the Dutch Golden Age, as the city grew rich on trade. Three main canals — the Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht — curve in concentric arcs around the old centre, and the area was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2010. Merchants built tall, narrow houses with step, neck and bell gables, and many still have a hoisting beam at the top for lifting goods and furniture up to the windows.

Which Amsterdam canal does the print show?
It shows an imagined canal scene rather than one specific address. The design draws on the classic features of Amsterdam's canal ring — gabled merchant houses, an arched stone bridge, flower boxes and a bicycle on the quay — composed into a single sunlit view.
Why are there tulips in the Amsterdam print?
They nod to the Netherlands' famous spring flowers. Pink tulips spill from the window boxes on the right, and red, pink and yellow blooms line the bridge, giving the design a fresh, seasonal feel.
Is a frame included?

Which size should I choose?
