About Momiji
Momiji refers to the red autumn colour of maple leaves and is often used for the maple itself. The Japanese maple, Acer palmatum, is native to Japan, Korea and China and is prized for its finely cut, hand-shaped leaves. Momijigari, the custom of going out to view autumn leaves, has roots in the Heian court. Each year the colour moves south from Hokkaido, and Kyoto's temple gardens draw crowds when their maples turn.

Questions & answers
Can I keep this maple print up all year?
Yes. Although the leaves are autumnal, the sage, cream and blue in the sky balance the red, so the print feels warm rather than seasonal and works in any month.
What is momijigari?
Momijigari is the Japanese tradition of visiting gardens, temples and mountains to admire autumn leaves. It is the autumn counterpart to cherry blossom viewing in spring.
Is a frame included?

Which size should I choose?
