A dozen or so golden shooting stars streak across the upper half of the design, all angling the same way, down and to the left. The largest leads the way near the centre as a bold five-pointed star with a long glittering trail, while smaller stars with thinner trails follow behind it, as if a whole shower has been caught in one moment.
Behind them the Milky Way forms a soft cloud of light in the upper left, and the deep navy sky is studded with tiny white and gold stars. The lower half gathers into layered cloud in teal, gold-leaf texture, pink and smoky mauve. About Meteor Showers
A meteor shower happens when Earth passes through a trail of debris left behind by a comet or, occasionally, an asteroid. The particles, most no bigger than a grain of sand, hit the atmosphere at high speed and burn up as brief streaks of light: shooting stars. Because they travel on parallel paths, the meteors seem to radiate from one point in the sky, which gives each shower its name. The Perseids peak each August; the Geminids peak in mid-December.

What is a shooting star?
A shooting star is not a star at all but a meteor: a tiny particle of space dust burning up as it enters Earth's atmosphere. This design shows them as classic five-pointed golden stars with trails for a more storybook feel.
When is the best time to watch a meteor shower?
Usually after midnight and before dawn, from a dark site away from city lights, on or near the shower's peak night. A moonless sky helps, and you need no equipment — just patience and time for your eyes to adapt to the dark.
Is a frame included?

Which size should I choose?
