About this artwork
A see-through game controller hovers just below the centre, its glassy shell outlined in electric cyan and hot magenta as if lit from within. Behind it, streams of liquid colour erupt outward in every direction: pink, cyan, violet and gold, breaking into droplets and fine flecks that scatter across a midnight-blue ground. The splashes thin out towards the edges, leaving plenty of dark space so the controller stays the clear focal point.
Look closer and the details reward you: a cross-shaped D-pad on the left, twin thumbsticks, four round face buttons glowing cyan and pink, and faint circuit-like lines inside the translucent body. This gaming wall art pairs crisp digital illustration with loose, painterly splatter, so it reads as both a tribute to play and a burst of abstract colour. The mood is pure momentum, the second a match begins.
About the Game Controller
The modern gamepad grew out of simple joysticks and rotary paddle controllers. The cross-shaped directional pad, or D-pad, spread through handheld and home consoles in the 1980s, and twin analogue thumbsticks became common in the late 1990s, giving players finer control in three-dimensional worlds. Most controllers today combine a D-pad, two thumbsticks, four face buttons and shoulder triggers, a layout shaped around the way two hands naturally hold a device. For many players it is the most familiar object in the room.
How to style it
Hang it above a gaming desk, in a teen bedroom or in a games room with charcoal or navy walls, where the neon splashes seem to glow. It makes a bold, colourful duo with the synthwave highway design. Explore the full Neon Gamer Wall Art collection.

Questions & answers
Is the controller a real brand or model?
No. It is an original, unbranded controller designed by ITCLabStudio, with no logo or console name, so it suits any player whatever they play on.
Does this print work on a white wall?
Yes. The deep navy background turns it into a strong dark focal point on white or pale grey walls, and the neon splashes bring in colour without needing other accents. A black metal frame sharpens the edges.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
As a rule of thumb, choose art about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it. 50 × 70 cm makes a statement above a sofa or bed, 30 × 40 cm suits shelves, desks and gallery walls. Our size guide shows every size to scale.
How is my print made and shipped?
Each print is made to order for you, then shipped with tracking from a production partner close to your address. You receive the tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves production.
