The sun sits low at the end of a long avenue in this autumn tree art print, a pale yellow disc wrapped in rings of orange and rose. Rows of slim dark trunks line both sides of a gently curving path, and their branches meet overhead in a canopy of red, orange and gold, with loose leaves tumbling through the air.

Halfway along, a lone figure in a magenta coat walks away from us under a red umbrella. The path is still wet from rain, so it holds a second sunset: a broad stripe of yellow running down the middle, flanked by pinks, crimsons and patches of violet and blue. Thick, overlapping knife-shaped strokes give every leaf and puddle a sculpted look. A band of hazy violet trees closes the view on the horizon. About the Palette-Knife Style

A palette knife is a blunt, flexible steel blade, originally made for mixing colours on a palette.
