The cliffs fill the left side of this Cliffs of Moher print in a row of sheer, dark walls, their tops capped with moss-green turf and their faces streaked with ochre and plum. They recede in a long line of headlands towards a lone sea stack and a far, misty point on the horizon.
At their feet the Atlantic is restless. Green-grey rollers break into white spray against the rocks, and spume drifts up the cliff base. Dozens of white gulls wheel across the scene, some close enough to show their outstretched wings, others tiny specks against the clouds. A low sun sits on the horizon at right, laying a golden path across the water, while thick crimson clouds tumble overhead. The whole scene has the scale and drama of a 19th-century romantic seascape.
About the Cliffs of Moher
The Cliffs of Moher rise straight out of the Atlantic on the coast of County Clare, in the west of Ireland, at the edge of the Burren region. They are one of Ireland's most visited natural attractions, with a clifftop path and O'Brien's Tower, a 19th-century viewing tower near the highest point. The ledges are home to large colonies of nesting seabirds, including puffins, razorbills and guillemots, and the area forms part of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark.

Where are the Cliffs of Moher?
On the Atlantic coast of County Clare in the west of Ireland, between the villages of Doolin and Liscannor. They stand on the edge of the Burren, a famous limestone landscape.
Are there birds in the Cliffs of Moher print?
Yes, plenty. Flocks of white gulls wheel across the sky and skim the waves, a nod to the large seabird colonies that nest on the real cliffs each year.
Is a frame included?
