Woodland & Safari Nursery Art
Twenty-four baby animal designs, each drawn in a soft watercolour-style illustration and set on warm off-white paper with plenty of calm space. Woodland friends include a sleeping fox, a fawn and a hedgehog; the safari brings an elephant, a giraffe and a lion cub; and the ocean and Arctic animals range from a sea turtle to a polar bear cub. Sage, sand, dusty blue and terracotta keep every print gender neutral and restful.
How to build a nursery gallery wall
Start with one habitat, woodland, safari or ocean and Arctic, so the animals feel as if they belong together, then mix poses for rhythm. A set of three is the easiest arrangement: one 50 × 70 cm print in the centre with a 30 × 40 cm print on each side, all hung with their centres level. Over a dresser or changing table, a row of three 20 × 30 cm prints works well. Leave a hand's width between frames, and hang the group a little lower than usual so it relates to the furniture and to small eyes.
Questions & answers
Are the nursery prints gender neutral?
Yes. Every design uses the same soft palette of sage green, warm sand, dusty blue and terracotta on warm off-white, with no pink-or-blue theme. That makes the prints suitable for girls, boys, twins and shared rooms, and easy to choose before the nursery colours are settled.
How is the nursery artwork made?
Each design is original digital artwork by ITCLabStudio, created in a watercolour-style illustration with soft washes and fine pencil-like lines. The printed surface is smooth, and the gentle painterly look is part of the design itself.
Can I mix woodland, safari and ocean animals?
Yes. All the designs share the same palette, line style and off-white background, so they look like one family on the wall. Mixing habitats suits a playroom, while sticking to one group gives a nursery a clearer theme.
Do baby animal prints make good baby shower gifts?
Yes. A baby animal print is a keepsake parents can hang from the first day and keep as the child grows. Choose an animal that matches the nursery theme, or a set of three from one habitat for a fuller gift.
