About this artwork
Standing on the rim, a gnarled juniper leans out over the drop, its twisted rust trunk and tufts of green sharp against the sky. This Grand Canyon poster looks past it across a maze of buttes and terraces, each layer of rock stepped in rust, orange and sand, fading towards a faint blue line on the horizon.
Far below, the Colorado River winds in a teal ribbon from the bottom edge into the heart of the canyon, with a thin fringe of dark green along its banks. The sky is laid down in long horizontal bands of forest green, ochre and rust, and a pale sun sinks low on the left. The right-hand cliff, cut into sheer blocks and ledges, frames the whole view. It is an original ITCLabStudio design in the spirit of vintage WPA-era screen prints, completed by a cream title band with the park name in dark green.
About the Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon lies in northern Arizona, carved over millions of years by the Colorado River through the Colorado Plateau. Its walls expose layer upon layer of rock, a record of deep geological time in shades of red, orange and buff. Grand Canyon National Park was established in 1919 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most visitors see it from the South Rim, while the higher, quieter North Rim opens only for part of the year.

Where in the Grand Canyon is this view?
It is an imagined rim view rather than a mapped viewpoint. The design combines the canyon's signature features, stepped red cliffs, distant buttes and the Colorado River far below, with a lone juniper of the kind that grows along the rim.
Is the Grand Canyon print an official park poster?
No. It is an original artwork by the independent studio ITCLabStudio, created in a vintage screen-print style. It has no connection with the park or with any official park merchandise.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
As a rule of thumb, choose art about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it. 50 × 70 cm makes a statement above a sofa or bed, 30 × 40 cm suits shelves, desks and gallery walls. Our size guide shows every size to scale.
