About this artwork
A huge orange sun sinks behind the tallest peak in this Grand Teton poster, its lower half cut by ochre stripes, set against a deep forest-green sky. The Teton Range fills the width of the frame, every summit sharp and snow-covered, the rock faces lit in rust and the shadows in slate blue and navy, with dark forest at their feet.
Across the valley floor, a thin teal strip of water and a field of golden grass lead to an old wooden barn, its weathered boards and roof in brown, grey and rust, with a lower shed built onto one side. Split-rail fences run off to either side. The foreground is a field of sagebrush, round silver-green clumps scattered across rust-red earth. Flat colour and crisp outlines give this original ITCLabStudio design the character of a 1930s travel poster, and the cream band beneath names the park in tall green capitals.
About Grand Teton National Park
Grand Teton National Park lies in north-western Wyoming, just south of Yellowstone. The Teton Range rises abruptly from the valley of Jackson Hole with no foothills, crowned by the Grand Teton itself, and the Snake River winds across the sagebrush flats below. Along Mormon Row, weathered barns left by homesteaders who settled the area around the turn of the 20th century stand against the mountains, one of the most photographed scenes in the park.

Questions & answers
Is the barn in the poster a real place?
It is inspired by the historic homestead barns of Mormon Row, a famous viewpoint in Grand Teton National Park. The barn, fence and sagebrush are interpreted freely, so the poster captures the spirit of the scene rather than one exact building.
Is this a genuine 1930s Grand Teton poster?
No. It is a contemporary, original design by ITCLabStudio that takes its style from 1930s screen-print travel art. It is not an antique, a reproduction or an official park poster.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
As a rule of thumb, choose art about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it. 50 × 70 cm makes a statement above a sofa or bed, 30 × 40 cm suits shelves, desks and gallery walls. Our size guide shows every size to scale.
