Dark sea stacks rise from the Pacific in this Olympic National Park poster, their sharp silhouettes wrapped in sea mist at the base, one of them crowned with a stand of spruces. A pale sun drops behind them into a sky of rust and gold, crossed by thin horizontal streaks.
To the right, a tall headland of grey rock climbs out of the frame, topped with a dense stand of evergreens and draped with olive moss. Teal waves curl and break across the shore, sending up white spray against black boulders. The foreground belongs to the beach itself: dark sand heaped with bleached driftwood logs, their silver-grey grain and broken branches crossing at every angle. The palette is restrained and the shapes are crisp, true to the screen-print travel posters of the 1930s, but the design is an original by ITCLabStudio. A cream title band names Olympic, with National Park · Washington below.
About Olympic National Park
Olympic National Park covers much of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State and is known for three very different landscapes: a wild Pacific coastline, temperate rainforests such as the Hoh Rain Forest, and glacier-capped mountains around Mount Olympus. Its beaches, including Rialto Beach and Ruby Beach, are famous for sea stacks and great piles of driftwood. The park was established in 1938 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Which beach does the Olympic poster show?
It is an imagined coastal scene rather than one named beach. The sea stacks, mist and driftwood are inspired by the Olympic coast, where beaches such as Rialto Beach and Ruby Beach are known for exactly these features.
Is this poster affiliated with Olympic National Park?
No. It is an original, independent design by ITCLabStudio, created in the style of 1930s screen-print travel posters. It is not an official park product, and it is not a reproduction of a historical poster.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
