About this artwork
A white lighthouse stands on a crest of pink granite in this Acadia National Park poster, its black lantern glowing and throwing a pale beam across the sky. A small white keeper's house sits beside it, sheltered by tall, dark spruce trees on the left.
The cliffs are the boldest shapes in the scene: big blocks of rose-pink rock, shaded in deeper coral, dropping to dark boulders at the waterline. The Atlantic stretches out in teal and navy, with curling white waves rolling in towards the rocks. Over the sea, a large cream sun sits low on the horizon, laying a glittering path across the water, while the sky glows in streaks of rust, orange and gold. This original ITCLabStudio design follows the flat, limited-colour style of 1930s travel posters and is finished with Acadia in dark green capitals above National Park · Maine.
About Acadia National Park
Acadia National Park lies on the coast of Maine, mostly on Mount Desert Island, where pink granite headlands meet the cold Atlantic. First protected in 1916 and named Acadia in 1929, it was the first national park east of the Mississippi River. Cadillac Mountain, the tallest peak on the US Atlantic coast, is famous for early sunrises, and the park is criss-crossed by historic carriage roads. Bass Harbor Head Light stands on the island's south-western shore.

Questions & answers
Is the lighthouse in the poster Bass Harbor Head Light?
It is inspired by the lighthouses of Acadia's coast, such as Bass Harbor Head Light, rather than a precise portrait of one. The tower, keeper's house and pink granite cliffs are stylised to create a classic Maine shoreline scene.
Is this an official Acadia poster?
No. It is an original design created by ITCLabStudio in the style of vintage screen-print travel posters. It is not an official Acadia National Park product or a historical reprint, and it has no affiliation with any park authority.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
As a rule of thumb, choose art about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it. 50 × 70 cm makes a statement above a sofa or bed, 30 × 40 cm suits shelves, desks and gallery walls. Our size guide shows every size to scale.
How is my print made and shipped?
Each print is made to order for you, then shipped with tracking from a production partner close to your address. You receive the tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves production.
