A red canoe slips across still water in this Jasper National Park poster, its paddle resting across the gunwales and a trail of ripples spreading behind it. The lake is a deep emerald green, and in it the whole scene repeats: snowy peaks, dark spruces and a small rocky island crowned with pines.
Above the reflection, the real mountains stand in white and navy, their snowfields and shadowed ridges cut into crisp geometric planes. Forested slopes close in from both sides, so the eye is led straight to the tallest summit. The sky is divided on a bold diagonal, rust on the left and ochre on the right, with small cream clouds floating across both. It is the kind of quiet moment on a mountain lake that stays with you. This original ITCLabStudio design takes its look from 1930s screen-print travel posters and is finished with Jasper and National Park · Canada on a cream title band.
About Jasper National Park
Jasper is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, in western Alberta, north of Banff. It is known for the Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Glacier, wildlife such as elk and bighorn sheep, and Maligne Lake, where a tiny tree-covered island called Spirit Island has become one of the most photographed views in Canada. Jasper is also a designated dark sky preserve and forms part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site.

Questions & answers
Is the island in the Jasper poster Spirit Island?
The small pine-covered island recalls Spirit Island on Maligne Lake, Jasper's best-known view, but the design is a free interpretation. Peaks, lake colour and the gliding canoe are arranged for a balanced poster composition rather than an exact match.
Is this Jasper poster made by Parks Canada?
No. It is an original artwork by ITCLabStudio, designed independently in the style of vintage screen-print travel posters. It has no official connection with Parks Canada or Jasper National Park.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
As a rule of thumb, choose art about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it. 50 × 70 cm makes a statement above a sofa or bed, 30 × 40 cm suits shelves, desks and gallery walls. Our size guide shows every size to scale.
