About this artwork
Rolling fells fill the middle of this Lake District poster, patched with fields of green, ochre and rust bracken and stitched together by long lines of dry stone wall. A darker navy fell rises behind them, and above it a soft teal sky is piled with cream clouds.
In the valley, a still lake stretches across the frame in blue and navy, with a small arched stone bridge crossing the stream where it leaves the water. A sturdy dry stone wall with wooden posts runs through the foreground, and three white sheep graze in the golden grass beside it, with a fourth on the far bank by the bridge. A sweep of rust bracken and dark grass fills the bottom edge. The scene is gentle and unhurried, true to the travel posters of the 1930s in its flat shapes and grain, yet entirely original to ITCLabStudio. A cream band names the Lake District, with National Park · England beneath.
About the Lake District
The Lake District National Park lies in Cumbria in north-west England. Established in 1951, it is England's largest national park and contains Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England, and Windermere, its largest natural lake. Its fells, valleys, farms and dry stone walls were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2017 as a cultural landscape. The area inspired William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, who farmed the hardy local Herdwick sheep.

Which lake is shown in the Lake District poster?
It is an imagined Lake District scene rather than one named lake. Fells, a stone bridge, dry stone walls and grazing sheep are combined into a single view that captures the character of the Cumbrian countryside.
Is this an official Lake District National Park poster?
No. It is an original ITCLabStudio design inspired by vintage travel-poster art. It is not a product of the national park authority, nor a reprint of a historic railway poster.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
