About this artwork
A long, looping piste unspools from the distant peaks in this Verbier ski poster, carrying a steady stream of tiny skiers down towards the viewer. Their tracks curve in soft blue lines across the snow, and the figures grow larger as they come closer, from specks high on the mountain to a skier in a red hooded jacket, gold helmet and navy trousers sweeping past in the foreground.
On either side, the mountainsides are cut into bold diagonal bands of warm red, deep navy and white, a classic poster device that makes the whole valley feel as if it is moving. Dark pines cluster along the slopes, and a small chalet hides at the lower right. Above it all, a huge golden sun with long spiky rays blazes in a deep blue sky. A cream title band at the top spells out Verbier in red geometric capitals, with Switzerland in navy below.
About Verbier
Verbier sits on a broad, south-facing terrace above the Val de Bagnes, in the French-speaking part of the canton of Valais in south-western Switzerland. Once a small farming hamlet, it grew into a ski resort in the years after the Second World War. Today it is the best-known resort in a large lift-linked ski area that spreads across several valleys, with Mont Fort as its highest summit. Verbier is especially loved by experienced skiers for its off-piste and freeride terrain, and for its lively après-ski.
How to style it
Made for a home office, a games room or a hallway that needs a jolt of energy and colour. With the Val d'Isère and Val Gardena designs it forms a lively set of busy pistes. Explore the full Vintage Ski Posters collection.

Questions & answers
What does the Verbier poster show?
It shows a winding piste full of skiers flowing down from snowy peaks under a big golden sun. The design is an original interpretation of a sunny day on Verbier's high slopes rather than a map of a particular run.
Would the Verbier poster suit a modern interior?
Yes. Its flat colour blocks and strong diagonals feel graphic rather than fussy, so it works with white walls, concrete and black metal as well as with chalet-style wood. A black metal frame sharpens the contrast.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
As a rule of thumb, choose art about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it. 50 × 70 cm makes a statement above a sofa or bed, 30 × 40 cm suits shelves, desks and gallery walls. Our size guide shows every size to scale.
How is my print made and shipped?
Each print is made to order for you, then shipped with tracking from a production partner close to your address. You receive the tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves production.
