Manarola climbs its rock in a tight stack of tall houses in terracotta, coral, ochre and cream, with green shutters and small iron balconies. Umbrella pines crown the top of the village, and terraced vineyards stripe the hillside above it and the far headland behind. Below, a dark cliff of jagged rock drops to a stone harbour wall, where steps and a slipway lead down to the water and a few tiny figures stroll.
The cove is busy with small boats in cream, red and navy, from rowing boats to a single sailboat, all resting on calm blue water. Vines run across the bottom right corner, and a plain warm-cream sky leaves room to breathe. This Manarola print is an ITCLabStudio original in the manner of 1930s art deco travel posters; its title band names Manarola in navy capitals, with Cinque Terre · Italy in small letters below.
About Manarola
Manarola is one of the Cinque Terre, five villages strung along the rugged Ligurian coast of north-west Italy, in the province of La Spezia. Its tall, colourful houses cling to a dark rock above a tiny harbour, and small fishing boats are hauled out of the water and lined up along its lower streets. The hills around are lined with dry-stone terraces of vines that produce Sciacchetrà, a sweet local wine. With Portovenere and its islands, the Cinque Terre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Which Cinque Terre village is in this print?
Manarola, the second of the five villages from the south. The design focuses on its best-known view: tall pastel houses stacked on a dark rock above the harbour, with terraced vineyards on the hillside above.
Will the Manarola print suit a small room?
Yes. The tall composition and plain cream sky keep it light, so it works in compact kitchens, bathrooms and hallways as well as on larger walls. Its warm terracotta and blue tones blend with most neutral schemes.
Is a frame included?
