About this artwork
A single stone arch springs across the centre of the frame, thin at its crown and built from honey-coloured blocks. Solid stone towers anchor it on both banks, and low walls and terraces step down to the water. Through the arch, more houses and green shrubs line the river as it bends into the distance.
On either side, houses in terracotta, cream and blue show pointed arched windows, small balconies and red-tiled roofs, and a slender minaret with a gallery and a blue cone rises on the left beside dark cypress trees. The emerald-teal river fills the lower third, where the arch's reflection closes into a full ring. A plain cream-gold sky with soft clouds keeps the mood quiet. This Mostar poster is ITCLabStudio's own original design, made in the spirit of 1930s art deco travel posters and finished with Mostar in navy serif capitals and Bosnia and Herzegovina beneath.
About Mostar's Old Bridge
Mostar is the main city of Herzegovina, in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, set on the Neretva river. Its emblem is Stari Most, the Old Bridge, a single stone arch built by the Ottomans in the 16th century. The bridge was destroyed in 1993 during the war and rebuilt using traditional techniques, reopening in 2004. The Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and local divers keep alive a long tradition of leaping from the bridge into the river.

Is the bridge in the Mostar poster the Stari Most?
Yes. The design is built around Stari Most, Mostar's Old Bridge, with its single high arch and stone towers on each bank. The surrounding houses and minaret are a stylised composition that captures the old town's character rather than an exact map.
Why is the river in the Mostar print so green?
Because the Neretva is known for its clear emerald and turquoise water, especially around Mostar. The design leans into that colour, setting the green river against warm stone and a cream-gold sky.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
