About Taormina
Taormina is a hilltop town on the east coast of Sicily, set on a terrace of Monte Tauro high above the Ionian Sea. Its most famous sight is the Teatro Antico, an ancient theatre founded by the Greeks and later rebuilt by the Romans, which frames a celebrated view of the coast and Mount Etna. Etna, Europe's highest active volcano, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The theatre is still used for concerts and film screenings in summer.

Questions & answers
Can you really see Mount Etna from Taormina?
Yes. On clear days Etna is visible from Taormina, and the view from the ancient theatre towards the volcano and the coast is one of Sicily's best known. The design compresses that view, setting Etna across the water with a plume of smoke.
Is the theatre in the Taormina print an exact copy?
No, it is a stylised interpretation. The tiered seating, brick arches and sea view recall the Teatro Antico, while the columned portico and bougainvillea are arranged freely to give the scene the balance of an art deco travel poster.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
