Half Dome fills the top of this Yosemite poster, its sheer granite face shaded in grey, cream and slate against a mustard-gold sky. A dark band of pines runs along the ridge beside it. Below, a second cliff streaked with rust releases a long white waterfall that spills into a cloud of spray among the trees.
The valley floor is all forest: tall conifers in deep green, one of them rising the full height of the frame on a rust-red trunk, and small golden trees glowing in the clearing. A river runs across the foreground over grey boulders, its pale water picked out in cream ripples. Flat shapes, crisp edges and a gentle paper grain give the scene the feel of a 1930s screen-print travel poster, reimagined as an original ITCLabStudio design. The cream band at the bottom carries Yosemite in tall dark green capitals, with National Park · California set in rust.
About Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park sits in California's Sierra Nevada. Yosemite Valley, shaped by glaciers and the Merced River, is lined with granite landmarks such as Half Dome and El Capitan, and with waterfalls including Yosemite Falls. In 1864 Abraham Lincoln signed the Yosemite Grant, protecting the valley and the Mariposa Grove of giant sequoias, and the national park followed in 1890. The naturalist John Muir, who campaigned for its protection, is closely linked with the park.

Which waterfall is shown in the Yosemite poster?
It is not a portrait of one named fall. The long white cascade beneath Half Dome is a free interpretation inspired by the valley's famous waterfalls, such as Yosemite Falls and Bridalveil Fall, composed with the granite cliffs for a classic poster view.
Is this a reproduction of a 1930s WPA poster?
No. It is a new, original ITCLabStudio design that borrows the look of 1930s screen-print travel posters: flat shapes, bold colour and a limited palette. It is not a copy of any historical poster, and it is not an official park product.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed format. The Natural Wood Frame and Black Metal Frame options arrive assembled with acrylic glazing and are ready to hang. The Unframed Art Print arrives without a frame, and the Aluminium and Wood Prints need no frame at all.
Which size should I choose?
As a rule of thumb, choose art about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it. 50 × 70 cm makes a statement above a sofa or bed, 30 × 40 cm suits shelves, desks and gallery walls. Our size guide shows every size to scale.
